former San Clemente Chamber of Commerce
San Clemente, CA
The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce was built in 1962. The Chamber moved to a new location in 2014. The building currently houses a real estate office. [map]

San Diego County Courthouse [gone]
San Diego, CA
The San Diego County Courthouse was dedicated in 1961. A new courthouse was built nearby and this building was demolished in 2020. For more, see this website.

San Jose Water Co.
San Jose, CA
The San Jose Water Co. building was designed by Gifford E. Sobey and built in 1960. Originally, there was a moat with fountains in front of the building. The grass has been replaced with mulch. There was also a sign with a cinder block screen which was removed around 2010. There is also a chain link fence around the building which I believe is vacant. For more, see this website. [map]

Fiesta Hall

The Fiesta Hall at the San Mateo County Event Center was built in 1948. It was known as the Hall of Flowers and was the first building constructed for what was then the San Mateo County Fairgrounds.
