Compton City Hall was designed by Harold L. Williams and built in 1976. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial was built in 1978, next to City Hall. The Memorial was originally designed as a fountain with a spout of water shooting through the ring at the top. [map] |

The Imperial Irrigation District buildings appear to be from the 1960s. The round building had a folded plate "crown" on the roof until around 2019. These photos are from after that. [map] |
