former Fresno Community and Convention Center
Fresno, CA
The Fresno Community and Convention Center was designed by Robert W. Stevens & Associates. It was built from 1965-1966 and consisted of three buildings: a theater, an exhibit hall, and an arena. The buildings are sheathed in oxidizing steel. The buildings now house the William Saroyan Theatre, Valdez Hall, and the Selland Arena. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

Fresno County Office of Education
Fresno, CA
This Fresno County Office of Education building also houses the Educational Employees Credit Union. The building was designed by Robert W. Stevens and built in the mid-1960s. The first-floor design is repeated for the former Fresno Hilton building which is immediately south and opened in 1972. [map]
