Hotel De Anza
San Jose, CA
The Hotel De Anza was built in 1931. The painted diving lady was added in the early 1950s. In 2025, the rooftop sign was repainted and relit. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. [map]

former Medico-Dental Building
San Jose, CA
The former Medico-Dental Building was designed by William Weeks and built in 1928. In 2005, the medical office building was renovated for the Vintage Tower Apartments. [map]

Esslinger Building
San Juan Capistrano, CA
The Esslinger Building was built from 1938-1939 as a medical office. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [map]

This medical complex appears to be from the 1940s or 1950s. [map]

St. Matthew Station Post Office
San Mateo, CA
The St. Matthew Station Post Office was built in 1936. It was originally the main post office until 1964 when a new facility opened. [map]

The commercial building which is directly across the street from the post office was built in 1937. It originally housed two storefronts. The building has housed the Chef Sha restaurant since around 2020. [map]
