former Icenogle Insurance Agency

The Icenogle Insurance Agency building was built in 1966. The building later housed Edgar County Savings & Loan, the Linton Insurance Agency, and a CellularOne office. It now houses a State Farm Insurance office. For more, see this website. [map]

The Huntington Tower office and residential octagonal building was designed by Robert Simon and built in 1972 as the Champaign Towers. The original plan was for two towers but only one was built. [map]

Cindy Lyn Motel

The Cindy Lyn Motel opened in 1960 and I believe the porte cochere and wooden sign are from then. Around 2021, the motel was renovated and the office's stone was painted black. For more, see this website. [map]

This Spudnuts donut shop building was built in 1970. It housed Harold's House of Donuts from the early 1970s thru 2008. It housed Golden Glaze Donuts from 2013-2018. The building has been vacant since then. For more, see this website. [map]

Mueller Company
Decatur, IL
The Mueller Company makes water and gas transmission products. This factory building was built in 1961 and is used for offices and machining. The mosaic tiles depict previous Mueller Co. locations and products. The murals were created by the American Oleam Tile Co. of Lansdale, PA. [map]

National Association of Independent Insurers
Des Plaines, IL
This office building for the National Association of Independent Insurers was designed by Arthur P. Swanson and built in 1973. The N.A.I.I. building now houses American Eagle Web Design & Development. [map]

Lattof YMCA Pool Building
