Maine Township City Hall
Park Ridge, IL
The Maine Township City Hall was designed by Lloyd Wright, Frank Lloyd Wright's son, as the Good Shepherd Community Church and built in 1957. The building has been used as City Hall since 1983. The main entrance of the church was moved from the back of the building to the front. The last photo above shows the garage which was built in the 1990s in a similar style. Palamar Motel
Pontiac, IL
The Palamar Motel was built in 1962. There was also a supper club and a Polynesian Lounge on the property. The motel officially closed in 2023 and it is now surrounded with chain link fencing. For more, see this website. [map]

This Pontiac Daily Leader building was built in 1968 and these tile mosaics must have been installed then. They depict the history of printing. The newspaper moved in 2022 but these mosaics remain. For more, see this website. [map]
