The former Avis Rent-a-Car was built in 1961. The building has housed a medical center since at least the 1980s. [map]

The Bobby Hicks Pool was built in 1976. [map]

John F. Germany Public Library
Tampa, FL
The John F. Germany Public Library was built in 1967 as the Main Library. It was renamed in 1999. The building was designed by McLane, Ranon, McIntosh & Bernardo-McElvy & Jennewein. The second photo shows the auditorium building. [map]

Peter O. Knight Airport
Tampa, FL
The Peter O. Knight Airport began operating in 1935. The original administration building was demolished and replaced with this building in the 1960s. [map]

Florida Wonderland
Titusville, FL
The Florida Wonderland tourist attraction was built in 1959 and operated until 1971. There were four theme areas: Wonderland Indian Village, Animaland, Florida Wonderglades, and the Old West Wonderwest. It operated as Tropical Wonderland from 1971-1973 and featured a Snake Farm, Monkey Island, a River Boat Ride, the Indian Village, a Petting Zoo, an Excursion Train, a Bird Aviary, an Arcade, the Tree Hut Restaurant, and various shops. This building was used as the Repile House for Florida Wonderland. It housed the Snake Farm for Tropical Wonderland. The building has been vacant since 1973 despite threats to develop the property for housing. For more, see this website. [map]

Guaranty Federal Savings of St. Petersburg
Treasure Island, FL

2009:

2021:
This building was housing the Guaranty Federal Savings of St. Petersburg in the late 1970s. I don't know if that was the original occupant. Later, it has had many occupants including a real estate office, the Barrier Islands Gazette office, the Chamber of Commerce, and a fitness center. After the 2009 photos, the building was painted red and tan and was housing a deli. By 2020, the concrete block detail was gone and the building was housing Events by Fusion. [map]

Fun Center [gone]
Treasure Island, FL
The Fun Center was built around 1968. It was demolished in 2007.

Post Office
Winter Park, FL
This Post Office was designed by Joseph Shifalo and built in 1965. The painted stone murals were created by Joe Testa-Secca. [map]
