unidentified building
Fort Meade, FL

2009:

2020:
This unidentified building was built in 1963. The building housed office space for Embarq, a phone and internet service company in 2009. The "payments" slot next to the front door appeared to be about the same as age the building. My guess is that this was a credit union or bank. However, someone said that this was a Bell South office. In 2016, the mushroom canopies and glass window on the left were gone. [map]

San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union
Dade City, FL
This Security Federal Savings and Loan, aka the Skyline Building, was built in 1961. It was designed by Wenceslaus Sarmiento. The building is now occupied by the Grow Financial Federal Credit Union. There was originally a restaurant on the top floor known as the Skyline Room. The stone wall on the south side acts as a giant sun screen. The building was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim Museum in New York City. For more, see this website. [map]

The FNBT.com Bank in the bottom row above was built in 1977. It originally had concrete arched canopies over the drive-thru lanes. Those were removed later. This photo is from 2010. Around 2013, the building was painted white. In 2019, the building was demolished.

There is also a similar looking hardware store in Melbourne. I assume that it is a repurposed FNBT.com Bank.
