The Kozy Motel sign was probably from the 1950s. In 2018, it was announced that the sign would be removed and sold. It was gone by 2021. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The B&B Lounge sign might be from the 1950s or 1960s. It is lit at night. For more, see this website. [map]

The Oasis Bar & Lounge sign appeared to be from the 1950s or 1960s. Around 2023, it was removed and replaced with a modern sign on the building.

This American Legion Post was founded in 1919. The sign might be from the 1950s. [map]

The Tyndall Bakery was established in 1861. This painted sign might be from the 1950s or earlier. It had neon at one time. [map]

Full Throttle Saloon
Vale, SD
The Full Throttle Saloon has a few signs on its property. In 2015, the business in Sturgis, SD was destroyed in a fire. In 2017, it reopened in Vale, SD. [map]

The Star Lite Motel sign was originally installed in Sturgis. This sign was installed at the Full Throttle by 2012. The motel was demolished in 2016. The sign was repainted before it was reinstalled in Vale.

The Best Western sign was installed at Full Throttle's Sturgis location. However, it is not displayed at the Vale location. It's not known where this sign was installed originally. These signs were mass-produced but were phased out by Best Western. They are very rare now. Some of the crowns have been repurposed for other business signs around the country.

The Union County Drug sign was originally installed in Anna, IL.

I don't know where the Budweiser sign came from or how old it is.

Kline's Jewelry opened in 1961. This sign was adapted from the Fox Jewelry store. Fox moved here in the 1930s and the sign might be from then. However, it looks more typical of the 1950s. The store has closed and the Kline's name was painted over sometime after 2019. [map]

Robbie's Little Casino opened in 1960 and this sign appears to be from then. Around 2012, the top part of the sign was covered up with new panels for the Rounding 3rd Bar & Casino. After 2019, the neon and bottom panels were removed from the sign. For more, see this website. [map]
