Robert & Helene Alexander House
Palm Springs, CA
The Robert & Helene Alexander House was designed by Palmer & Krisel and built in 1960. The house was also known as the House of Tomorrow and the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway. Elvis and Priscilla stayed at the house in 1967. The house is built on three levels with four perfect circles. There are no square rooms. For more, see this website. [map]

Carl Haymond House
Palm Springs, CA
The Carl Haymond House was designed by Albert Frey & Robson Chambers. It was built in 1964. The cast aluminum sun screens were designed by John de Koven Hill for the Tennessee Fabricating Company. [map]

Royal Hawaiian Estates

The Royal Hawaiian Estates were designed by Donald Wexler and Richard Harrison and built from 1959-1960. There are 12 buildings with 40 condominium units. [map]

Aluminaire House
Palm Springs, CA
The Aluminaire House was designed by A. Lawrence Kocher and Albert Frey. It was built in 1931 as an all metal house from donated materials in ten days. The house was exhibited in New York City a couple of times before being moved to Wallace K. Harrison's estate on Long Island. It was moved again and then disassembled and put in storage. In 2024, it was reassembled in Palm Springs where it will remain on permanent display. For more, see this website. [map]

Swiss Miss Houses

Steel Houses
Palm Springs, CA
There are seven Steel Houses in this neighborhood which were designed by Donald Wexler and Richard Harrison in 1962. The were built entirely of steel and glass.
