Beckman Auditorium Pasadena, CA |

Beckman Auditorium is located on the campus of Caltech, the California Institute of Technology. The building was designed by Edward Durell Stone and built in 1964. It is used for lectures as well as theatre and dance performances. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. |

Ambassador College's Fine Arts and Science Halls and the Dining Hall were built in 1966. The Hall of Administration was built in 1967. The Ambassador Auditorium was built in 1974. The college officially closed in 1997. In 2004, the college property was purchased by Maranatha High School and the Harvest Rock Church. These photos are from 2012. In 2013, the Fine Arts and Science Halls were demolished for condo development. The Hall of Administration will also be demolished. I believe the Auditorium and the Dining Hall will be spared. The Blair High School Sports Complex was built in 1965. It was designed by Neptune & Thomas. The school is now known as the Blair International Baccalaureate School. [map] |

UC Riverside opened in 1954. The Rivera Library was completed by then. I don't know when the other buildings were built.
The Bell Tower was designed by Quincy Jones & Frederick E. Emmons. It was dedicated in 1966. The carillon at the top consists of 48 brass bells. Concerts are played throughout the year. |
