Miss Syracuse Diner

The Miss Syracuse Diner is a 1930s Bixler. It was nearly destroyed in 2000. [map]

J.R. Diner
Syracuse, NY
The J.R. Diner was built by the Rochester Grills company sometime in the 1930s. It was originally known as "Griffeth's Swanky Diner" and located at a different spot in Syracuse. [map]

Doc's Little Gem Diner
Syracuse, NY
Doc's Little Gem Diner is a 1955 Fodero. It was known as Hank McCall's Little Gem until 1982. The diner closed in 2010 just after the photos above were taken. The diner reopened in 2011 as "The Gem". A new neon-less sign with a similar design was built and installed. The clock was replaced with Harley-Davidson sign. Some of the panels with horizontal bands were replaced. A similar looking addition was built on to the back of the diner which doubled the amount of dining space. [map]

Selena & Nick's Diner

Selena & Nick's Diner is a Kullman from the late 1950s. It is now known as Selena's Diner & Pizzeria. [map]

Skylark Diner
Vestal, NY
The Skylark Diner is an O'Mahony from 1956. This is its original location. The Skylark Motel located behind the diner appears to have been built at or around the same time. These photos are from 2010. By 2012, the rooftop signs had been removed. For more, see this website. [map]

The Modern Diner is a Ward & Dickinson diner from the 1930s. The exterior and interior have been extensively remodeled. [map]

Star 22 Diner [gone]
Wingdale, NY
The Star 22 Diner was built around 1957. The manufacturer is unknown. It was previously known as the Adams Diner. It was previously installed in New Milford, CT. These photos are from 2009. In 2010, the diner reopened as the Valley Diner. By 2013, the diner was up on blocks and the vestibule portion had been removed. By 2014, the diner was gone. For more, see this website.

The former Royal Diner is a Silk City from around 1946. It was remodeled by Erfed in 1963. The diner has been closed for many years. Around 2010, the exterior modifications were removed and the diner was back to its 1946 appearance. However, the diner remains closed. [map]
