former Malta Ridge Diner
Malta, NY
This Fodero diner was built in 1954. It was originally known as the Malta Ridge Diner. In 1995, the interior was remodeled when Chez Sophie Bistro moved in. In 2005, that restaurant moved to a new location and the diner was put up for sale. Bloomers occupied the diner from 2007-2011. In 2011, the owners of the Quintessence in Albany (see above) bought the diner and opened it as a second location. Around 2013, this diner location closed as well. In 2016, the diner reopened as the Dunning Street Station. For more, see this website. [map]

Sharyn's Place

Sharyn's Place is a 1951 Silk City diner (#51112). It was previously named Betty's Diner. This diner was previously located in Frankfort and Utica. The booths have been replaced with tables. By 2017, it was known as the Daybreak Diner. By 2018, it was the Dreamer's Cafe. By 2020, it was housing La Pizzeria. In 2021, it began housing Full Throttle BBQ. That is also closed now. [map]

The Maybrook Diner is a Mountain View (#440) from 1954. It had been closed for many years. The middle section of the diner is concealed behind a large add-on vestibule. These photos are from 2009. Kiss the Chef occupies a Silk City from the 1940s. It has been here since 1950. These photos are from 2007. Since 2012, the diner has housed Biscuits & Barbeque, a Cajun restaurant. In 2024, the diner was put up for sale and needs to be removed from the property. [map]
