Pike Carousel
Long Beach, CA
The Pike Carousel was built by Spillman Engineering in 1920. It features 30 jumping horses and two chariots. The early history of this carousel is unknown. It was used at carnivals on the East Coast before it was permanently installed in New Hampshire until 1984. It was then moved to Independence, MO from 1990-1996. It was located in Santa Barbara, CA from 1998-1999. Then, it was put in storage in Mt. Hood, OR from 1999-2005. It has been located here at the Pike since 2005.

Allan Herschell Carousel
Hanford, CA
This Allan Herschell Carousel was built in 1939. There are 30 horses and two chariots. It is located in a downtown park. The carousel was originally located in Visalia, CA. It was moved here in 1985. For more, see this website.
