The Rose Bowl was built in 1962. It was designed by William Henry Ryan. The building consists of two-and-one-half concrete domes which rest on two central pillars. The building has survived several fires. The bowling alley closed in 2005 and the maple lanes were removed. The building housed the Rose Bowl Event Center since 2008. In 2012, the building was purchased by One Hope Vision Ministries. In 2019, the building was being restored for the after-school, daycare center for children. The pole sign is gone now. For more, see this website. [map] |

This dome may have been built in 1960. I don't know its original use but it appears to have been used for storage since at least 2007. [map] |
