The Lincoln Tower was built from 1965-1966 for the Income Life Insurance Company. It was designed by William Wesley Peters and Taliesin Architects, based on a Frank Lloyd Wright design from the 1940s for a store in Ahmedabad, India. The top floor of the building housed the Terrace Restaurant, accessed by a gold elevator on the side of the building. It is now occupied by Ruth's Chris Steak House. The round building at the base of the tower and elevator is now called The Plaza at Wright Tower and is used as an event venure. The separate round building shown in the bottom row of photos above originally housed the Liberty National Bank and Trust Company. It now houses a real estate office.
