This former Gulf station in Flatonia appeared to be vacant in 2011 when this photo was taken. It housed the Yard Stop after that but now appears to be vacant again. [map]

This former Gulf station has housed the Brick Vault Brewery and Barbecue since 2018. Before that, it housed the Famous Burro Cafe & Bar. The canopy on the right was added sometime after 2013. [map]

This former Gulf station was built around 1948. The building was restored sometime after 2013. Since 2018, the building has been part of The Station on 290 businesses which features food and live entertainment. This building houses Outfitters now which might be a clothing store. [map]

This former Gulf station appeared to be vacant when these photos were taken in 2012. By 2018, the building had been restored and was housing Underwoods Autos. It housed Rear View Pools & Spas after that but the building appears to be vacant now. [map]

This former Gulf station was built in the 1940s as the Webb Brothers Gulf station and Chrysler dealership. The building housed the Pizza Foundation restaurant in from at least 2008. In 2013, the building was renovated and began housing the Marfa Contemporary arts center. The wall was built sometime after that which obscures much of the building. Marfa Contemporary closed in 2018 just before this photo was taken. The building now houses the Werrick art museum. [map]

This former Gulf station was built in 1945. It has housed Earl's Tire Shop since at least 2008. The building was repainted around 2019. [map]

This former Gulf station was built in 1928. It was later a Humble Oil station and beginning in the mid-1950s, it housed a Phillips 66 station. In later years, it was a Texaco station and dressed up to reflect that use. The two fins on top of the canopy would have been installed further in from the sides. The details would have been green rather than red if this had been a Texaco station. The stars on the building would have been painted red. In 2006, the building was restored as a Wachovia Bank branch. It now houses an Oakwood Bank branch. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

This former Gulf station was built around 1929. In the 1960s and 1970s, it housed Monty's Auto Shop. The building housed LT-One Automotive in 2011. By 2014, the building had been restored and decorated with Gulf pumps and signs. It is now used as a private garage. The gorilla statue is gone. For more, see this website. [map]
