Wigwam Mineola Tribe No. 86
Franklin, IN
I believe this Wigwam Mineola Tribe No. 86 building was built for the Order of Red Men, a fraternal organization. It was built in 1928 after the previous building was destroyed in a fire. [map]

Superior Woodcrafts
Garrett, IN
The Superior Woodcrafts building looks like it might be from the 1930s or 1940s. The porcelain panels are from then. Additions to the entrances were added later. It appears that the original business was the "Superior Drive-in," a restaurant. There might have been a connection with that and the Superior Dairy in Garrett. I believe Superior Woodcrafts has been there since 2015. [map]

Sears Roebuck and Co.
Indianapolis, IN
This Sears Roebuck and Co. building was built in 1929. In 1964, the building was covered with aqua panels which were later removed. The store closed in 1983. This building has housed Needler's Fresh Market since 2017. For more, see this website. [map]

For more surviving Sears buildings, see this page.

former Heslar Naval Academy

This Heslar Naval Academy was designed by Ben H. Bacon and built in 1938. The Navy decommissioned the building in 2015. In 2018, the building began housing Riverside High School. [map]

commercial building
Indianapolis, IN
This terra cotta facade was added to this commercial building in 1920. I believe the building was housing the Bethard Wall Paper Co. at the time. The building now houses an architectural firm. [map]

Old Trails Building
Indianapolis, IN
This Old Trails Building was designed by Pierre & Wright and built in 1928. It housed the Old Trails Automobile Insurance Association. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

former Indiana National Bank
Indianapolis, IN
The Indiana National Bank was designed by D.A. Bohlen & Son and built in 1947. It housed a Chase Bank for many years but it has been vacant since around 2017. [map]

commercial building
Indianapolis, IN
This commercial building was built around 1930. I believe it was housing the Frank Hare Chevrolet dealership by 1935. By the early 1960s and into the 1970s, the building was housing an A&P grocery store. [map]

Circle Tower was designed by Rubush & Hunter and built from 1929-1930. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4. [map]
