This Goodyear Tires store was built in 1969. The unusual building is concave on both sides. The bays are approachable from both directions. I have not seen any other Goodyear stores with this design. [map]

Habib Brothers Oil Company
Walsenburg, CO
This former gas station began housing the Habib Brothers Oil Company at some point. The building was probably built for a major oil company originally. The Habib Brothers also served as a Goodyear Tire dealer. The pole sign originally advertised for Goodyear. The building has been vacant since at least 2007. [map]

Center Tire Store

The Center Tire Store may have opened around 1939. [map]

Toce Brothers opened in 1924 as a Socony station, selling tires and offering storage for cars in winter. The building and recessed semi-circular driveway look the same today as in the vintage photos displayed in the office. Toce Brothers stopped selling gas in 1960 but remains as a tire dealership. Delta Car Connection

The Goodyear sign at Delta Car Connection has probably been there since the 1960s. I don't know what the original business name was. [map]

Florida Tire (now Pep Boys)

This Florida Tire location featured a big tile-covered showroom and service building. By 2013, the building was housing a Pep Boys and the Goodyear signs were gone. [map]

This Goodyear Tires store appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s. The business is known as Post Office Tire Service. The canopy must have had gas pumps underneath originally. In 2018, the store had closed and the Goodyear signs were gone. The building was still vacant in 2020. In 2022, there was chain link fencing around the property. The pump island and canopy have been removed. [map]

Goodyear Service Center

This Goodyear sign in Cornelia hangs in front of the Whistle Top Brew Company. The building housed Hulsey's Appliance and Refrigeration previously. While that business was still there, both sign panels had been painted to advertise for Hulsey's. The Hulsey family opened Whistle Top in 2014. By 2019, one of the sign panels was restored to reveal the Goodyear panel underneath. The other side of the sign still advertises for Hulsey's. [map]

This Goodyear sign in Winthrop Harbor is located at Wenzel's Automotive Service & Tire Center. [map]

The Abe & Doc's Goodyear Service Center features a nicely preserved, embossed plastic sign. I believe the business opened here in 1961. This sign might be from then. [map]
