Goodyear Tires
Denver, CO
This Goodyear Tires store was built in 1969. The unusual building is concave on both sides. The bays are approachable from both directions. I have not seen any other Goodyear stores with this design. [map]

Center Tire Store
Center, CO
Toce Brothers
Torrington, CT
The Center Tire Store may have opened around 1939. [map]

Toce Brothers opened in 1924 as a Socony station, selling tires and offering storage for cars in winter. The building and recessed semi-circular driveway look the same today as in the vintage photos displayed in the office. Toce Brothers stopped selling gas in 1960 but remains as a tire dealership. [map]

Florida Tire (now Pep Boys)
Leesburg, FL
This Florida Tire location featured a big tile-covered showroom and service building. This photo is from 2009. By 2013, the building housed a Pep Boys. The Goodyear signs were gone. [map]

Goodyear Tires
Ocala, FL
This Goodyear Tires store appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s. The business is known as Post Office Tire Service. The canopy must have had gas pumps underneath originally. In 2018, the store had closed and the Goodyear signs were gone. The building was still vacant in 2019. [map]

Goodyear Service Center
Batavia, IL
This old Goodyear sign in Caldwell is located at a private residence. [map]

This Goodyear sign in Winthrop Harbor is located at Wenzel's Automotive Service & Tire Center. [map]

The Abe & Doc's Goodyear Service Center features a nicely preserved, embossed plastic sign. I believe the business opened here in 1961. This sign might be from then. [map]

Indiana Goodyear Buildings & Signs:
Crawfordsville [map]

Topeka, KS
This Goodyear sign is located at a tire production plant. The building was constructed in 1944. Goodyear bought the facility in 1946. This sign might be from that time. It probably had neon originally. [map]

Goodyear Tire
Pittsburg, KS
This former Goodyear Tire dealership was being renovated when these photos were taken in 2010. By 2013, the building was housing Images, a photography studio. In 2009, there was still a Goodyear sign on the building. This may have been a car showroom originally. Does anyone know what business was here originally? [map]

Gregg Tire Co. (now Kansasland Tire)
Topeka, KS
The Gregg Tire Co. was founded in 1917 and opened across the street from its current location. This building was constructed in 1920. The company began selling Goodyear tires in 1921. These photos are from 2010. In 2012, Kansasland Tire bought Gregg Tire's three locations. The building was repainted brown and beige. It still bears Goodyear signs. For more, see this vintage photo from Ryan Gregg, the great grandson of the original owner. [map]
