Silver Dome Ballroom
Neillsville, WI
This Silver Dome Ballroom has a mid-century look but it was actually built in 1933. The roof was originally painted silver. [map]

Wisconsin Pavilion
Neillsville, WI
The Wisconsin Pavilion was designed by John Steinmann and built for the 1964 New York World's Fair. When the Fair was over, a man from Boscobel, WI bought it. He moved it to Boscobel with hopes of reconstructing it there. Finally, in 1997, he sold the building to Central Wisconsin Broadcasting which reconstructed it. The building now houses the WCCN radio station and the Pavilion Cheese & Gifts shop. The rooftop tower is 50 feet tall. For more, see this website. [map]

S.C. Johnson Wax Company
Golden Rondelle Theater
Racine, WI
The Golden Rondelle Theater originally appeared at the New York World's Fair from 1964-1965. It was part of a larger building known as the Johnson Wax Pavilion. After the Fair, this portion of the building was brought here. It was reassembled and integrated into a new building by Taliesen Associate Architects. It was completed in 1967. Elmer & Dolores Petersen House
Racine, WI
The Elmer H. & Dolores Petersen House was designed by John Randal McDonald and built in 1950. [map]

Wyoming Valley School
Spring Green, WI
The Wyoming Valley School was built in 1956. This elementary school was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as a memorial to his mother. For more, see this website. [map]
