Hanna Sacks Bais Yaakov High School
Chicago, IL
The Hanna Sacks Bais Yaakov High School was built in 1954 as the Green Public School. It was designed by George Tesch. The panels which now read "HSBY" were originally terra cotta depictions of animals and plant life. [map]

Our Lady of Good Counsel Church School
Chicago, IL
The Our Lady of Good Counsel Church School was designed by Kefer & Cronin and built in 1960. It has been vacant since around 2019. [map]

former Anthony Overton Public School
Chicago, IL
The Anthony Overton Public School was designed by Perkins & Will and built in 1963. The school closed in 2013. The buildings are being adapted for the Overton Community Hub, a community center. [map]

former Center for Continuing Education
Chicago, IL
The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Chicago was designed by Edward Durell Stone and built in 1963. The building was later known as the New Graduate Residence Hall. It is now known as the Harris School of Public Policy's Keller Center. [map]

The Jerome M. Sachs Administration Building at Northeastern Illinois University was designed by Perkins & Will and built in 1961. It was originally known simply as "Building C" and nicknamed the "Beehive Building" because of its honeycomb-like appearance. [map]

Wilbur Wright College
Chicago, IL
Wilbur Wright College was designed by Bertrand Goldberg and built from 1986-1992. The concrete buildings and stainless steel pyramid are connectec by elevated tube walkways. For more, see this website. [map]
