This former Sinclair station, also known as the Triangle Sinclair, was built in 1935. It operated as a Gulf station for a few years and then returned to being a Sinclair station. It closed in 1972. The station was saved from demolition in 1995 and restored. It has an unusual triangular-shaped office and a small canopy over the vintage pumps. By 2006, the office was vacant. Signs indicated that it had been used as a shaved ice stand befor that. In 2012, the station was restored and repainted. A Sinclair dinosaur, a Coca-Cola machine, and other Sinclair-related signs and such were added to the lot. [map] |
