| The Bull Moose Bar & Grille is housed in a 1893 Pullman Palace dining car. It was retired in 1931 and moved here in 1934. It was given a sheet-metal front end and became a restaurant. The Walker Bros. Original Pancake Restaurant chain was established in Portland, OR in 1953. There are now about 120 locations nationwide. This location opened in 1960 as one of the company's early franchises. This building, which was probably built in the 1940s, was originally Nott's Ice Cream Bar. That company produced ice cream here and also had a dining area. The glass enclosed waiting area was added to the building when Walker Bros. moved in. The old front doors are now the two inner doors.
