Venice Police Station

This Venice Police Station was built in 1930. The building now houses SPARC, the Social and Public Art Resource Center. [map]

Venice High School
Los Angeles, CA
Venice High School was established in 1910. In 1933, the campus was destroyed by the Long Beach earthquake. The school was rebuilt from 1935-1937. The buildings were designed by Austin & Ashley. For more, see this website. [map]

Los Feliz Manor Apartments
Los Angeles, CA
The Los Feliz Manor Apartments were designed by Jack Grundfor and built in 1929. The blocky addition to the roof was built in 2012. It is a cleverly designed cell phone tower meant to blend in with the building below. [map]

Hollywood High School

Hollywood High School was established in 1904. After an earthquake in 1933, all but two of the school's buildings had to be demolished. These replacement buildings were completed around 1938. In 2018, a mural was painted on the Sunset Boulevard facade. [map]
