former station
Midway, GA
This former station still retains a Gulf sign on the tile roof. I don't know what brand of gas was sold here originally. The building is now used as a repair shop. [photo thanks Robby Delius] [map]

former Gulf station
Savannah, GA
This former Gulf station is now used as a car wash. [map]

former station [gone]
Augusta, GA
This former station housed Reggie's Hot Dogs when this photo was taken in 2009. It may have been a Gulf station originally. The building was demolished in 2010.

Parker's Market
Savannah, GA
Parker's Market spent about $2 million to restore this former gas station and auto storage building. The 24 hour gourmet market and gas station opened in 1999. There are also six apartments upstairs. For more, see this website. [map]

Standard Oil Building
Savannah, GA
former station?
Adel, GA
This Standard Oil Building once served as office space with pumps under the canopy. The building is now used as a bank. The Magnolia Petroleum Building in Oklahoma City, OK has a similar oil company/gas station building on a grander scale. [map]

This building in Adel might be a former station. Does anyone know anything about it? The building housed the Seafood Shack when this photo was taken in 2010. By 2012, the building appeared to be vacant. [map]

former station?
Talmo, GA
This restored former station is supposedly from the 1940s. It features a Texaco sign, pumps and memorabilia. The way the building is raised off the ground on rocks and the condition of the wood and rockwork makes me suspect that this is a recreation rather than a restoration. For more, see this website. [map]

former Sinclair station
Elberton, GA
This former Sinclair station has been converted into the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce. [map]

former Sinclair station
Ashburn, GA
This former Sinclair station housed a Chicken Delite in recent years. The building now serves as a car wash and possibly a peanut store. For more, see this website. [map]

former Sinclair station
Ringgold, GA
This former Sinclair station was built in 1930. It was home to Griffin's Footlong Hot Dogs when this photo was taken in 2005. Prior to the hog dog place, it was Melissa's Garden and Gift. In 2009, K-9 Tub Time and the Hair Affair moved into the building. For more, see this website. [map]
