Barn Restaurant
Baraboo, WI
The Barn Restaurant opened in the 1940s or so. This sign might be from the 1950s. The building was a former barn from the 1880s. It burned down in 2018. The owner hopes to rebuild. I believe the sign is still there. [map]

Walker's Restaurant
Beaver Dam, WI
Walker's Restaurant opened in 1965. [map]

Wilson's Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor
Ephraim, WI
Wilson's Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor opened in 1906. The building has been expanded a few times. For more, see this website. [map]

Chalet of Fox Lake
Fox Lake, WI
I believe the Chalet of Fox Lake restaurant opened in the 1950s or 1960s. [map]

Al's Hamburger Shop
Green Bay, WI

Al's Hamburgers opened here in 1934. Just a few weeks after this photo was taken in 2011, the restaurant was damaged by a major fire. The sign was unaffected and the restaurant reopened in 2012. The sign appears to be either a replica or a major refurbishment of the original. [map]

Pyramid Supper Club
Juneau, WI
The Pyramid Supper Club was built in 1961. It is forty feet tall. The interior featured an Egyptian theme with columns, paintings, and statues. It went by other names in later years such as The Nile Club and the Pyramid of the Nile. The restaurant closed in 2009 and has been vacant since then. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. Olympic
Family Restaurant
Lake Geneva, WI
Cinder's Charcoal Grill [gone]
Oshkosh, WI
The Olympic Family Restaurant looks like it's from the 1950s. For more, see this website. [map]

Cinder's Charcoal Grill is a chain that started in Appleton, WI. This building did not look like their others. I'm told that this was originally a Mars restaurant. This photo is from 2007. By 2013, the building had been completely rebuilt or remodeled.

Craig's Popcorn Corner
Portage, WI
I have no idea how old Craig's Popcorn Corner is. The building is set back from the corner and may have been a gas station, dry cleaners or another business which required a large parking lot. These photos are from 2011. By 2022, there was a different popcorn sign. [map]
