This former Lyons Coffee Shop housed the Melaka Restaurant when these photos were taken in 2008. The building was demolished around 2012. This was Lyons' first location, built in the early 1960s. It was designed by Armet & Davis. Some other Lyons locations were designed by Edward Wong & Associates. For more, see this website.

I believe this former Lyons Coffee Shop was built in 1966. It was designed by Armet & Davis. The building now houses the Kaya Restaurant. The building is located in front of a Rodeway Inn & Suites which was originally the Water Tree Inn. For more, see this website. [map]

This former Lyons Coffee Shop was designed by Armet & Davis. It last housed the Asian Buffet which closed around 2018. The building has been surrounded with chain link fencing since then. [map]

This former Mel's Junior Drive-in now houses a Nation's Giant Hamburgers. The Nation's Giant Hamburgers chain was founded in 1952 in San Pablo, CA as Harvey's Giant Hamburgers.
