The Chung Sing Restaurant occupies a 1952 Fodero that was once known as Dean's Diner. I don't know how long Chung Sing has been there or when the diner's interior was remodeled and a tile roof added. In 2001, the diner was going to be demolished. Then, it was decided that the diner would be saved and sent to the American Diner Museum's "holding pen" in Rhode Island. Chung Sing closed in 2018. However, as of 2023, the diner remains and is still vacant. [map]

The owner had hoped to open the diner on a limited basis after restoration. However, that never happened. In 2010, the diner was moved to Boyertown, PA. After being restored again, in 2011 the diner was put on display inside the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles. For more, see this website.

The Summit Diner is a DeRaffele from 1949. It had been closed since at least 2008. These photos are from 2012. The fluted panels on the exterior sometime after 2018. In 2020, it looked like there had been a fire and the diner was in really bad shape. It was gone by 2023.
