|Kim's Classic Diner
|Kim's Classic Diner, a 1946 Silk City (#4655). It was known as the Greenville Diner when it was located in Greenville, NY. The diner closed after a fire in 1986 and was moved to Alpena, MI in 1992. It was moved here and completely restored in 2002. The diner was closed in 2009. After reopening in 2011, I believe it is closed again. [map]|
|This Valentine diner was built in 1946. It was previously known as Nancy's Little Giant. The diner was nearly demolished before being adopted by the City. In 2007, the siding, roofing and other additions were removed. The interior was gutted. The plan was to restore the diner and use it as a visitors center. However, in 2012, the diner was put up for sale. In 2018, the diner was still there and vacant. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. [map]|
