Breslin & Wallace Buick
Portland, OR

2008:

2015:
Breslin & Wallace Buick was established downtown as the George B. Wallace Company. Wallace Buick moved to this building on Sandy Blvd. in 1949. By 2014, the Buick sign had been covered up with a vinyl sign advertising for the new business name, Breslin-Timberline Tire Factory. The back of the building was still in use as the Breslin & Wallace Service Center. By 2018, the building had been painted turquoise and was housing two restaurants. The rooftop sign had been adapted. Wentworth Chevytown [gone]
Portland, OR
Wentworth Chevytown's history could be traced back to 1903 when the company sold horse-drawn carriages. In 2013, most of these signs were removed. The tower sign's "Chevrolet" piece revolved. That sign and the scaffold sign are gone now. The "OK" and Chevytown signs were still there until around 2019 when the building began housing a Subaru dealership.

Chevrolet
Roseburg, OR

2008:

2015:
This Chevrolet dealership looks like it was built in the 1950s. I believe this building housed Clint Newell Chevrolet which moved up the street. By 2012, the neon sign had been removed and a vintage electronics store had moved in. The building has been vacant since at least 2015. [map]

Springfield:
Springfield Motors

former Griffith Motors
The Dalles, OR

2008:

2015:
The former Griffith Motors used car lot features a 1950s looking office and neon signs. By 2012, Griffith Motors had moved but these signs remained. The property is now serving as another used car lot. The name "Griffith" has been removed from the sign. For more, see this website. [map]
