former McKinney Motors dealership

The building was designed in 1932 and completed in 1935 for McKinney Motors, a Chevrolet dealership. Yost Chevrolet occupied the building from the early to mid-1970s. After that, a Dolly Madison Bread store moved in. The building has housed Tower Realty since 2007. [map]

Bill Allen Chevrolet was established in 1933. This dealership building was built in 1945. The business closed in 1988. The building now houses the Hawaiian Bros. restaurant. The sign on the roof remains. For more, see this website. [map]

Don Wessel Honda
Springfield, MO
The Don Wessel Honda opened in 1966 as an Oldsmobile dealership. This building appears to be from then. Don Wessel began selling Hondas in 1973. In 2021, the dealership became Pinegar Honda. [map]

The Killingsworth Service Inc. building was built in 1927 and sold Willard batteries and gas. [map]

This former Overland dealership features a glazed terra cotta tile façade. The building is or was in use as a thrift store in 2010 when these photos were taken. The building was demolished in 2014.

Miller Chevrolet
St. Joseph, MO
This dealership housed Miller Chevrolet until around the late 1980s. The building appears to be from the 1940s. Greg Buick moved into the building after that. It later housed the Falkner Plumbing Company and Ben's Asphalt after that. The building appears to be vacant now. [map]
