American Society of Metals

The geodesic dome at the American Society of Metals, later ASM International, was designed TC Howard of Synergetics, Inc. and built from 1958-1959. The dome is 103 feet tall and 250 feet in diameter. For more, see this website. [map]

Flyer's Bar and Grill

The Flyer's Bar and Grill was built around 1963 as the French West restaurant and nightclub. By the early 1970s, the building was housing the Circus Lounge. The building has been vacant since around 2019. [map]

Parma Heights Library
Parma Heights, OH
The Parma Heights Library was designed by John Lipaj and built in 1963. A new library is being built and there are plans to demolish this building. [map]

This Allstate Insurance office looks like it might have been a bank originally. Does anyone know the history of this building? [map]

Imperial Entertainment Center [gone]
Toledo, OH
The Imperial Entertainment Center, aka "Ducat's Imperial Lanes", featured bowling and arcade games. In 2009, the building was demolished and will be replaced with a hospital. The building design was similar to that used for Royal Castle, an Ohio restaurant chain. For more, see this website.
