Palm Mortuary and Cemetery
Las Vegas, NV
The Palm Mortuary and Cemetery was established in the 1920s. The mortuary opened in 1958. The Building of Eternity mausoleum was built then. The "Devotion" mausoleum was probably built at or around the same time.

Bank of America
Las Vegas, NV
This Bank of America branch was designed by Zick & Sharp and built in 1963 as a Bank of Las Vegas. [map]

U.S. Bank
Las Vegas, NV
This U.S. Bank was built in 1962 for the Frontier Fidility Savings & Loan Association. The building has been vacant since around 2020. In 2023, plans were announced to demolish the building. [map]

Molasky Building
Las Vegas, NV
The Molasky Building was built for real estate developer Irwin Molasky in the 1960s. It housed the Quick Care health clinic when this photo was taken in 2014. The building now houses an attorney's office. [map]

former Nevada Savings & Loan

2014: 2023:
The Nevada Savings & Loan headquarters building was built in 1975. It was designed by Zick & Sharp. The building housed a post office and law offices when these photos were taken in 2014. In 2020, the building was gutted and being adapted for an office building. The project is still in progress. [map]

Southern Nevada Telephone Company

The Southern Nevada Telephone Company building was built in 1957. It later housed Centel and, after that, Sprint. For more, see this website. [map]

Las Vegas, NV
This parking garage was designed by Zick & Sharp and built in 1965 as a First National Bank branch. It is also known as the Carson Building. [map]

The MEET Las Vegas building was built as a bank in the 1970s. It is used as an event space now. [map]

Stratosphere Tower

The Stratosphere Tower, appears to be mid-century modern but it was actually completed in 1996. It was rebranded in 2019 as The STRAT Hotel, Casino and Skypod. The observation tower is 1,149 feet tall. It was designed by YESCO in the late 1980s. For more, see this website. [map]

The round building that housed Trinity Security Services when this photo was taken in 2014. By 2016, it was housing Bravo Insurance. It now houses the LV Psychic Shop. The building was built around 1963. It may have been originally used by the Paradise Palms Apartments located next to it. The building now houses a psychic's studio. [map]

former Safeway
Las Vegas, NV
This former Safeway supermarket now houses a Savers Thrift Store. It was built in 1961. The shopping center's Huntridge Center sign was replaced in 2016 with a vintage-looking new one. Around 2018, the Savers building was repainted and its signs were updated to a similar retro look. The Circle K gas station on the corner was also given a similar design. [map]
