This Central Loan Company branch building appears to be from the 1950s. By 2022, the building appeared to be vacant and the Loans sign was gone. [map]

former Turquoise Tepee

2012: 2023:
The former Turquoise Tepee's chalet style building and rock detail appear to be from the 1960s. The building was vacant in 2012. By 2019, it was housing New Mexico Title Loans. [map]

Cobean Stationery Co.
Roswell, NM
The Cobean Stationery Co. was established in 1916. This building was built in 1970. The store closed in 2010. By 2024, the building was housing a museum. The Cobean's signs are gone but the canopy remains. [map]

Wilshire Shopping Center [gone]
Roswell, NM
The Wilshire Shopping Center was built in 1968. The freestanding sculpture and the details on the side of the building were created by Herb Goldman. In 2024, the building was remodeled and the mid-century features and artwork are gone.

Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse
Roswell, NM
I believe the Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse was built in the 1960s. [map]

The Tucumcari Public Library is housed in a former post office which was renovated and expanded in 1971. The sculptures on the sides of the building are from then. For more, see this website. [map]
