former National State Bank of Caldwell [gone]
Caldwell, NJ
This former Wachovia Bank structure featured drive-up ATM kiosks. The motor bank was built in 1963 for the National State Bank of Caldwell. It was designed by Rotwein and Blake. It appears that there were originally tellers inside each of the three stations. I don't know if any of these windows were still used when these photos were taken in 2009. Before Wachovia, the ATMs were owned by First Union Bank. I don't know if there was ever an adjacent walk-in bank. By 2013, the Wachovia signs were gone and the building did not appear to be in use. In 2018, the structure was demolished.

former Wachovia Bank
Elizabeth, NJ
This Wachovia Bank has a round main building with a folded plate roof. This was probably always a bank but I don't know what the original name was or when it was built. This photo is from 2007. By 2012, this building was housing a Wells Fargo. [map]

Sovereign Bank
Camden, NJ
This round Sovereign Bank appears to be from the 1960s. The bank closed in 2016. By 2017, the building was housing the ACCU Job Center. [map]
