The AMF Strike 'N Spare Lanes opened around 1961 and closed in 2011. The building was vacant when this photo was taken in 2012. It was demolished in 2013. For more, see this website.

Belt Alignment & Frame features these towering swirls. They appear to be from the 1960s. [map]

The Gates Bar-B-Q Restaurant chain was founded in 1946. This location was built in 1979. The building was destroyed in a fire in 2015. The restaurant has been rebuilt on the site but not in this mid-century modern style. The company has five other locations in the Kansas City area. Two others in Leawood and Kansas City, KS have/had this same roof design.

These three buildings originally housed Mid-West National Insurance Company offices. [S/S Tax Service]

The Cash Biz and Falukos Chiropractic & Wellness Center buildings would have had globes on top originally. [Cash Biz map]; [Falukos map]

There was another one of these buildings in Tulsa, OK and there are other ones in Newport, AR and Bells, TN.

The former Black Orchid Restaurant had been built by 1964. The building has housed Guitars Rock N' Country Bar since 2006. [map]

This City Bank branch appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s. [map]

St. Louis County National Bank's Auto Bank [gone]
Clayton, MO
The St. Louis County National Bank's Auto Bank was built in 1970. These photos are from 2012. It was vacant for a number of years before being demolished in 2014.
