Caribe Building
New Orleans, LA
The Caribe Building was designed Curtis & Davis and built in 1958. The building now houses the New Orleans Council On Aging. The concrete block appears to be the same as that used for the Brown/O'Neal Building shown directly above. For more, see this website. [map]

former Automotive Life Insurance
New Orleans, LA
The Automotive Life Insurance was designed by Nathaniel C. Curtis, Jr. and Arthur Davis. It was built in 1963. Since 2016, the building has housed the New Orleans Public Library Mid-City branch. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

medical offices
Shreveport, LA
These medical offices appear to be from the 1960s. In 1971, the building was housing the Sandifer accounting firm. [map]

6003 Financial Plaza [gone]
Shreveport, LA
The 6003 Financial Plaza office building was designed by Huddleston, Emerson & Stiller and built in 1971 as the headquarters for AMI, Inc., a real estate and financial services firm. Around 2021, most of the gold detail features were removed. The building is basically a black box now. [map]

Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse
Shreveport, LA
The Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse has occupied this building since at least 2007. From at least the late 1970s through the late 1980s, Swann World Travel operated here. I don't know what business was here originally. The building is probably from the 1950s or 1960s. [map]

Dental Arts Building
Shreveport, LA
The Dental Arts Building is probably from the 1950s or 1960s. These photos are from 2018. Around 2021, the building was vacant. The "Dental Arts" letters and the globe lights were removed from the building. [map]

Brown/O'Neal Building
Shreveport, LA
The Brown/O'Neal Building houses medical offices. It was designed by Frey & Huddleston and built in 1961 as an office building known as the Edwin Jones Building. [map]
