Ketchum Building
Denver, CO
The Ketchum Building was built in 1958 as office space for the engineering firm of Milo Ketchum. It was built to showcase the use of concrete shell roofs. The building now houses Sprocket Design + Planning and other offices. For more, see this website. [map]

former Women's Club
Denver, CO
The former Women's Club building was designed by William Muchow and built in 1961. The building now houses the Wagstaff Law Firm. [map]

Hangar 61
Denver, CO
Hangar 61 was designed by Milo Ketchum. It was built in 1959 for the Ideal Cement Company's airplane. This building is all that remains for the Stapleton Airport which closed in 1994. The building housed the Stapleton Fellowship Church since 2007. It now houses the Arise Church Denver. For more, see this website. [map]

Denver Coliseum
Denver, CO
The Denver Coliseum was designed by Anton Tedesko and built in 1951. The roof was made from 5,400 tons of concrete. For more, see this website. [map]

commercial building

This commercial building has housed the Denver Dentists & Implant Center since 2018. It housed HOK Architecture before that. I don't know what business was here originally. [map]

Central Transport
Denver, CO
The Central Transport building was built in 1959. The building was vacant when this photo was taken in 2023. [map]

Mayfair North Shopping Center
Denver, CO
The Mayfair North Shopping Center was built in 1964. It is now known as Mayfair Center. [map]

Continental Baking Company
Denver, CO
These Continental Baking Company buildings were built in 1962. These rooftop signs must have been installed then. Hostess went bankrupt in 2012. The brand was purchased by Flower Foods in 2013. Around 2013, the neon Hostess Cake sign was removed and moved to a private collection. It was replaced with a backlit plastic sign for Nature's Own. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]
