Novelty Golf opened in 1949. There are two courses with fiberglass statues and unique constructions. The place is sometimes referred to the Bunny Hutch Golf since the Bunny Hutch fast food stand is located next door. For more, see this website. [map]

The Morton Grove Par-King Skill Golf opened in 1956. It was originally known as "George's Gorgeous Golfing Gardens." It closed in 2003 and was demolished in 2005. The sign was saved and is supposedly in storage. There is another Par-King in Lincolnshire, IL which is still open.

Ahlgrim Acres Palatine, IL |

This unique course is known as Ahlgrim Acres. It is located in the basement of Ahlgrim's Funeral Parlor. The course was built in 1964 to entertain the owner's children and employees. The nine holes have references to coffins and death. There is also spooky music and vintage games. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
