former Pure Oil
Florence, SC
This former Pure Oil station housed the Carolina Sandwich Co. from around 2000 to 2007. There was a significant fire in 2007 and the building was vacant until at least 2012. These photos are from 2009. In 2014, the building had been repainted and was housing a hair salon. The building was vacant again in 2017. Then, it housed the W. Palmetto Nutrition restaurant. The building appears vacant now. I doubt the little storage shed that was out back, third photo, was part of the original Pure Oil plan but it imitated the Tudor style cottage of the main building. It was gone by 2017. [map]

Orangeburg, SC
This former Pure Oil station looked like it has been vacant for a long time when these photos were taken in 2009. By 2013, the building had been demolished.

Greer, SC
This former Pure Oil station is now used by City Tire & Alignment. I believe the business has been there since 1998. [map]

former Pure Oil
Lexington, SC
The first former Pure Oil station shown above recently housed the New Attitude Styling Salon. It appeared to be vacant in 2010 when this photo was taken and remains vacant. [map]

The second former Pure Oil station above suffered a fire and looked unsalvageable in 2006. I didn't make note of the address. If you know where this building is located or if it's been demolished, I'd love to hear from you.

The former Pure Oil station in Lexington housed the Needler, a needlepoint and embroidery store, since 1975. It housed Nicky's Pizzeria more recently. [photo thanks Robby Delius] [map]
