Canton, OH
This building in Hamilton appears to be a former station, possibly a Sinclair station. It was occupied by Mr. Motors when this photo was taken in 2009. By 2012, the building had been painted beige and appeared to be vacant. By 2016, the building was housing a used car dealership. [map]

The former station in Canton was a Sohio station in the 1950s. It was probably built in the 1920s or 1930s. It housed Conley's Service and General Body/Towing for at least several years. Does anyone know what brand was sold here originally or anything more about the history of this building? In 2019, the building began housing Walkie Talkie Espresso & Coffee. The building has been painted orange and white. [map]

This former station was built around 1925 as a Linco station. It became a Marathon station in the 1940s. The building was octagonal in shape. The square building to the right was used as a service garage. The station closed around 1968 and had been vacant since then. The buildings were restored sometime in 2007. In 2012, the buildings were put up for auction. By 2018, the buildings disassembled by collectors that will display them at their properties in Kansas and Missouri. For more, see this website.

former station?
Newark, OH
Northland Auto Sales occupies a Cities Service station from the 1920s. In the 1940s, this station was occupied by Sinsabaugh's Oil. It had housed Northland Auto Sales since about 1999. By 2018, it was housing a different used car business. [map]

This building in Newark might be a former station. The building has been vacant for many years. It might have been used as part of Playr's Triangle, the bar next door. However, both businesses were gone by 2019. Does anyone know anything about this building? [map]

Glen Echo Body Shop
Columbus, OH
The Glen Echo Body Shop appeared to occupy a former gas station and service garage. There are no signs of any pump islands now. The neon sign looked like it was from the 1940s but the building is probably older than that. By 2014, the neon sign was gone and the business was known as the Glen Echo Garage. That closed in 2016. By 2019, the building was housing Roach Studios, a custom t-shirt business. [map]
