former Upson-Maybach station [gone]
Lincoln, NE
This former Upson-Maybach station was originally located in Livonia, NY. It was built from a kit for the Kendall Oil Company which was based in Bradford, PA. This station operated from the 1930s to the 1950s. This is a vintage photo of the building. The station was disassembled around 2010 and sold to someone in Rochester, NY. It was sold again and is now located in a private collection somewhere else. There were a few other buildings like this but none are known to still exist. [photos thanks Hollis D. Upson]

Ogallala, NE
This building may have been built as a Phillips 66 station. If so, it has been drastically remodeled. The chimney is missing, the gable over the door seems less steep, windows were replaced and moved, and the building was surrounded by additions. [map]

This former station on the right looks like it might have been built for Cities Service in the 1920s or 1930s. The other building was probably a later addition or remodeled. [map]
