This former Pan-Am station also housed a Chevrolet dealership at one time. The building appears to be from the 1940s. These over-sized Pan-Am stations frequently contained cafes and functioned as truck stops. The building is now owned by Quitman County. School buses are maintained and stored behind the building. This former station was built around 1935. It was either built as a Standard Oil Red Crown station or housed one at some point. The building had been vacant since at least 2014. This photo is from 2019. Around 2022, the building was restored for Holmes County and a reproduction Red Crown pump was installed in front. [map]

This former station was home to Butterfly Yoga from 2004 until 2017. It was probably a Texaco station originally. Just after this photo was taken, this station was temporarily painted white and red and decorated as a Shell station for the making of the movie The Help. After the filming, the building was repainted white and purple. The building now houses Highball Station. [map]
