former Pure Oil station
Mount Clemens, MI
This former Pure Oil station was built in 1932. The signs on the building are obviously not that old. I don't know if this was built as a Pure Oil station or if the signs were added later. The building now houses Herb's Auto. The tan-colored building next door looks like it was built at the same time. [map]

Fraser, MI
former Pure Oil station
Lansing, MI
These former Pure Oil stations are example of Pure Oil's later design. I believe these stations were built in the late 1940s and/or 1950s.

The Fraser building still had blue roof tiles like the earlier cottage stations shown above had. This photo is from 2011. By 2015, the building was gone. For more, see this website.

The Lansing building is still there and being used as a car repair. [map]
