2026:

This former Gulf station was vacant when these photos were taken in 2007. The building on the adjacent lot had the same blue and white porcelain enamel panels (photo on right above). It was used by Gulf to sell tires, batteries, and other automotive supplies. It looks like it probably had extra bays as well. By 2009, the panels on that building had been removed and the brick underneath was exposed. By 2015, the navy Gulf details on the station had been painted red. former Sunoco station Louisa, KY

This former Sunoco station was no longer selling gas but the owner had left the signs up when these photos were taken in 2012. By 2014, the Sunoco signs were gone and the building was vacant. By 2025, the caduceus sign was gone and the panels had been painted beige. There are only a handful of these caduceus signs still on display. [map]

This former station has housed the Full Stop Station cafe since 2019. [map]

former Shell station [gone] Magnolia, KY

This former Shell station was missing at least part of the roof when this photo was taken in 2007. The derelict building was still there in 2013. It was gone by 2022.

Shelbyville: former Gulf station [map]

former Phillips 66 station Winchester, KY

This former Phillips 66 station is an early, small version of the company's batwing station. There were originally freestanding "Phillips 66" letters on the canopy. These photos are from 2010. In 2013, the building was housing Scrubbles & Bubbles Auto Detailing. It now houses Shortstop Automotive. For more, see this website. [map]
