|Harper's Tasty Dip opened in 1948. The neon sign still works. [map]|
|This Dari-Delite opened in 1950. In 1984, a drive-thru window was added. In 2011, the stand closed and moved to a new location. As of 2017, the building and sign are still there. This location was part of a national chain at one time. This Dari-Delite in Hopkinsville, KY had a similar style rooftop sign. Both buildings and signs may have been Tastee-Freez stands originally. The neon chicken indicates that "broaster chicken" was sold here. For other Dari-Delites, see this page. For more, see this website. [Hopkinsville scan from 1955 thanks Robby Delius] [map]|
