Dari-Delite [gone]
Clanton, AL

2007:

2020:
This Dari-Delite opened in 1950. In 1984, a drive-thru window was added. In 2011, the stand closed and moved to a new location. The building, rooftop sign, and plastic pole sign remained. By 2022, the rooftop sign was laying flat on the roof. Later, that year it was gone. The plastic pole sign still remains.

This location was part of a national chain at one time. This Dari-Delite in Hopkinsville, KY had a similar style rooftop sign. Both buildings and signs may have been Tastee-Freez stands originally. The neon chicken indicates that "broaster chicken" was sold here. For other Dari-Delites, see this page. For more, see this website. [Hopkinsville scan from 1955 thanks Robby Delius]
