Dinosaurs
Santa Monica, CA
These six Dinosaurs are located at the 3rd Street Promenade. These sculptures were created by Claude and Francois LaLanne and installed here in 1989. The topiary sculptures are made from stainless steel and copper. They were designed as fountains with water projecting from their mouths. Only the last two sculptures shown above were operating when these photos were taken in 2013. [map]

Stanton, CA
This Dinosaur was located at the Reptile Outlet. The statue was previously located at Adventure City in Anaheim, CA. It appeared to be same design as the one above in Los Angeles. These photos are from 2013. By 2016, the statue was gone.

A Bed for You [gone]
Venice, CA
This metal dinosaur statue stood in front of A Bed for You when this photo was taken in 2008. By 2012, the store and statue were both gone.

Queen's Motel
Victorville, CA
This concrete dinosaur stands next to the Queens's Motel. Does anyone know the history of this statue? [map]

Diner-saur Park
Yermo, CA
Diner-saur Park is located behind Peggy Sue's 50's Diner. These statues were installed sometime after 1987 when the restaurant reopened. For more, see this website. [map]
