Meadowbrook Diner

This Meadowbrook Diner is a 1954 Mountain View diner. It later became Bill's Diner and Dick's Diner. More recently, it housed Connie's Soul Food Diner. It housed a Subway from at least 2007 until 2022. It has housed a Mexican restaurant since 2023. For more, see 1 and 2. [map]

Sanitary Diner
Indianapolis, IN
The Sanitary Diner is an O'Mahony diner (#1121) from 1937. It was installed in Cleveland, OH from 1942-1956 as part of the American Diners chain. After that, it was moved to Munster, PA. In 1995, the diner was sold to Diversified Diners where it was restored. It was installed here in 2010 where it serves lunches to employees of Angie's List. I don't believe it was open to the public. In 2024, there was a "For Lease" sign next to the diner. For more, see this website. [map]

former M&M Diner

The M&M Diner operated in this Valentine diner from 1956 until the mid-1960s. In the early 1970s, most of the interior was stripped when the diner was converted into the Lou Esper barber shop. After that business closed, the building had been vacant for many years. In 2025, the diner was restored and will reopen as the Brew Box. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

Little Chef's Diner
New Albany, IN

The Little Chef's Diner was installed here in 1957. It is a Valentine Little Chef model with ten stools. This diner closed in 2012. It reopened later that year as D.P. UpDogs. By 2015, the diner was housing Coqui's Cafe. By 2016, the building had been brightly painted for Lady Tron's. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. [map]

Oasis Diner
Plainfield, IN

2025:
The Oasis Diner is a 1954 Mountain View. It was also known as the U.S. 40 Diner and The Diner. It closed in 2009 due to structural problems and health code violations. In 2010, the diner was donated to the town of Plainfield. In 2014, it was moved downtown and reopened as the Oasis Diner.
