The Mark Twain was designed by Charles D. Strong and built in 1937. [map] The Robert Browning was also designed by Strong and built in 1937. The A.B. Hirschfeld Press Building was built in 1949. The company moved to another location in 1974 and eventually folded in 2009. This corner of this building has been preserved and incorporated into a new building for the TownePlace Suites. For more, see this website. [map] |
