Looff Carrousel
Spokane, WA
The Looff Carrousel was built in 1909 and originally located at Spokane's Natatorium Park. The park closed in 1967 and it was reinstalled here in Riverfront Park in 1975. This carousel features 54 jumping horses, 1 giraffe and 1 tiger. The goat is not original and was added later. There is also a Ruth & Sohn band organ and a brass ring machine. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
